THE ETERNAL CITY, REIMAGINED:WHERE HISTORY, PHILANTHROPY & CULTURE CONVERGE
A bold, charitable solution advancing a more efficient and sustainable Ontario healthcare system.
The Schroeder Ambulatory Centre is an Integrated Community Health Services Centre (ICHSC) and registered charity, licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Health to deliver publicly funded outpatient care in a modern, community-based setting. By design, the Centre focuses on same-day procedures and less complex cases - enabling patients to receive high-quality, timely care without the need for overnight hospital stays. Through streamlined clinical pathways, leading-edge technology, and highly specialized care teams, the Centre is able to deliver consistent, efficient, and patient-focused outcomes at scale.
This model not only enhances the patient experience through greater convenience, shorter wait times, and improved outcomes, but also plays a critical role in alleviating pressure on hospitals - freeing up vital resources, capacity, and clinical expertise for more acute and complex care. In doing so, it strengthens the entire healthcare continuum. Through innovation, operational excellence, and an intensely patient-centered approach, the Schroeder Ambulatory Centre represents a transformative shift toward a more agile, accessible, and high-performing healthcare system for Ontario - one that is better equipped to meet the evolving needs of patients and communities.
It is within this context that Roma Eterna is being launched as the Schroeder Ambulatory Centre Foundation’s flagship and highly distinctive fundraising initiative - an experience as purposeful as it is exceptional. Much like the Centre itself, which delivers timely, personalized, and precision-based care when it is needed most, the Roma Eterna experience has been intentionally designed as a bespoke and immersive journey. Set against the extraordinary backdrop of Rome, it brings together a select group of leaders, innovators, and philanthropists for a highly curated program that blends meaningful dialogue, exclusive access, and cultural depth.
For over two thousand years, Rome has shaped the world - through empire, faith, art, and the finest expressions of culture.
Roma Eterna invites a select circle of distinguished guests to experience the Eternal City in a way few will ever know. From private chambers hidden within centuries-old palaces, to sanctuaries reserved for global leaders and cultural icons, each space opens exclusively to you. Witness the treasures of the Vatican beyond public access, enter historic libraries untouched by tourists, and partake in intimate encounters with the city’s most influential figures.
Every moment has been meticulously curated through decades of personal and professional relationships, blending faith, art, diplomacy, and heritage into a journey of rare intimacy. Guests will move seamlessly between awe-inspiring architecture, private receptions, and transformative cultural experiences, creating a narrative of Rome that is both deeply personal and historically profound.
This is not travel. It is a passage into Rome itself - a city of unparalleled history, enduring spirit, and memories that will endure for a lifetime.
For those invited, it offers the rare convergence of access, refinement, and purpose, where each moment resonates with meaning and every experience embodies the privilege - and responsibility - of shaping something truly enduring.
A LEGACY OF PURPOSE:
TRANSFORMATIONAL PHILANTHROPY AND RARE PRIVILEGE
Roma Eterna is deliberately limited in scale, curated for an intimate circle where meaningful conversation, quiet reflection, and enduring relationships flourish. This is a journey designed not for spectators, but for partners in legacy - discerning individuals whose engagement shapes both the experience itself and the institutions it supports for generations to come.
Every element of Roma Eterna is designed to inspire transformational philanthropy. Participants move through rare and private spaces, engaging with history, culture, and leadership in ways few will ever encounter. Every encounter - from private spiritual reflection at the Vatican, to dinners with cultural icons, to dialogue with global leaders - is an opportunity to connect, contribute, and leave a lasting impact. Here, influence, generosity, and privilege are inseparably intertwined.
Participation is offered at $250,000 per couple, with 70% of the total contribution directed to the Schroeder Ambulatory Centre Foundation, supporting innovation and patient care. Each couple’s contribution will be permanently recognized on the SAC’s Living Donor Wall, a lasting tribute to their commitment and a visible legacy for future generations of patients and caregivers. This is more than a gift - it is an investment in lasting impact, a tangible mark of distinction, and an enduring connection to the mission of the Centre.
